First time Mr. naba have been jomsom muktinath trekking for the 10 days in 1998, February as a assistant guide. He was new and very exciting to fly jomsom from pokhara. From kathmandu to pokhara Naba Thapa drive by the touristic bus, then stay in the glacier hotel in pokhara, in the lake side. Trekkers tourist are from the holland, who was very friendly, open minded and helpful.
From the Lumbini airways, next day morning fly to jomsom. really , Journey is interesting before reach the destination. Many imagination of the tibetan nepali life in mustang region. New taste and journey of the imagination places. Still i remember dancing in the muktinath, drink a wine in the Ghandruk, experience the hot water spring in the Tatopani(hot spring), one day trekking from tatopani to ghorepani. I was follow the following itinerary in the jomsom muktinath trekking:
1. Kathmandu to pokhara by bus
2. pokhara to jomsom fly early in the morning
3. Jomsom to kagbeni, stay in the hotel shangrilla
4. Kagbeni to muktinath , stay in the hotel monalisha
5. Muktinath to Marpha, stay at the hotel Dhulagiri
6. Marpha to Gasha, stay at the hotel national
7. Ghasa to tatopani, stay in the hotel kamala
8. Tatopani to Ghorepani, stay in the hotel mountian view in Ghorepani
9. Ghorepani to Tadapani, stay in the panorama hotel
10. Tadapani to Ghandruk, stay at the Hotel Annapurna in Ghandruk
11. Ghandruk to pokhara, stay at the hotel Glacier
12.Pokhara to Kathmandu by bus
